الى أين تأخذنى لهفة الآشواق

هل الى عينيك أم الى العناق

أم تأخذنى الى الآهات والآنين

حيث الدموع وصرخات العشاق

أجالسك كل ليلة وأخــاطبــــك

وأخاطب فيك الحب ومحاسنك

وفى أخر الليل يأخذك الفجـــــر

لتنهشنى كلمات حرفها يعاتبك

لآغتسل من الحنين فى خشـــــوع

وتبعثرنى الآشواق فى همس دموع

وتمزقنى الآشواق الى أشــــــــــلاء

على أشعـة الشمس وألم الجوع

الى متى تترك الفؤاد وحيـــــدا

تغتصبـه الآفكار ولكمات التنهيد

يا من يأخذ روحى فى الليالى

أجب الى متى مع التأكيــــــــدا

قلبى قد كان وما زال يحبـــــك

ويشتاق كل لحظة الى ضمـــــك

فلا تبتعـــــد وتترك الليل يبكى

على أنغام الفراق وتراتيل صوتــــك

هلم ومعك فرحة تشملنى

وبنظرة عينيك تضمنى فى التمنى

وأترك الآفكار تحت سقف النهار

وأقتنس الحب وهلم بين نبضـــى

Where do you take me to the passion of the markets?

Do to your eyes or to embrace

Or do you take me to groans and whining?

Where the tears and cries of lovers

I'll call you every night and talk to you

I will talk to you in love and in your favor

And at the end of the night, dawn will take you

I am struck by the words of your letters

To wash the nostalgia in the reverence

And the sparks in the whisper of tears

Tears torn me apart

On the sun and the pain of hunger

How long will the heart be left alone?

It is infused with ideas and with booting

O who takes my soul in the nights

Answer to Matthew with confirmation

My heart has been and still loves you

And yearning for every moment to join you

Do not go away and let the night weep

To the melodies of separation and the hymn of your voice

Come with a joy that surrounds me

And the look of your eyes included in the wish

I leave ideas under the roof of the day

And the love is broken and so between the freckles
